Today Shirley and I traveled south down the Columbia Valley on Hwy 95 paralleling the Columbia River to Hwy 93 crossing over Sinclair Pass into the Kootenay valley. We continued north up the valley and over Vermilion Pass to Hwy 1 stopping at Lake Louise and the Spiral tunnels. We then continued back to our camp in Golden. Along the route we stopped at the Beeland market and coffee bar and had a great conversation with the owner. We also stopped at the visitor center in Radium Hot Springs. A beautiful day for a ride with some great scenery in the Northern Rockies.
