Day 46 – 9 July – Ellsworth, ME to Scarborough, ME

Today we traveled 166 miles from Ellsworth, ME to Scarborough, ME.  We stopped in Bucksport, Rockport, Waldoboro, Bath, and Scarborough.  In Bucksport we stopped at the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, in Rockport we stopped and looked at the breakwater and lighthouse, in Waldoboro we ate at ‘Moody’s Diner” we went to the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath.  At the maritime museum we took in the tour of the shops and learned about the six masted great schooner “Wyoming”, and took a boat ride on the Kennebec and Sasanoa rivers looking at lights and lighthouses and the Bath Iron Works.
