Day 48 – July 11 – Exploring Boston

Today we took both motorcycles into Parkway Cycle to have the oil changed and a general inspection.  While they where working on the motorcycles Shirley and I went into Boston and had breakfast and then walked to the Bunker Hill memorial.  While we were there we started talking with one of the volunteers and I noticed has name tag, his name was Ron Ridley and it unknown if he is any relation.  I then climbed the 294 steps to the top of the memorial.  When I got back down Shirley and I started out walking The Freedom Trail down to the USS Constitution and the museum.  Then we went to the The State House, Old South Meeting House, and the Old North Church.  The day started out wet but turned out to be a nice day. 39 Miles
