Today Shirley and I traveled 264 miles from Charleston, SC to St. Mary’s, GA. On the trip south we encountered Cyprus filled swamps, roads with a full canopy of trees, and tide lands. We drove through Cottageville, Walterboro, Salkehatchie, and Savannah.
