Shirley and I traveled 209 miles north on highway 231 to Maxwell AFB. We stopped at the rest area after crossing into Alabama. We traveled through Dothan, Ozark, Troy, into Montgomery. After we arrived at Maxwell AFB there was a Thunder storm that rained 5 inches overnight.
