Weekend in Victoria

Last weekend Shirley and I spent the weekend at an Air-BnB in Victoria.  We went to Victoria to watch our grandson perform with the Oregon City Marching Band in the Battle of the Bands and the Victoria Days parade.  My parents met Shirley and I and we did the normal tourist activities.  On Thursday we went on a tour of Victoria by carriage, On Friday we drove to Naniamo for lunch and stopped in Chemainus, and Duncan on the way back to Victoria.  Chemainus has murals painted on the sides of buildings throughout the town and Duncan has a Totem pole tour that we walked.  On Saturday we went to the Royal British Columbia Museum and then we met up with our daughter Sue (chaperone) and Grandson JT.  On Sunday we watched the Battle of the Bands and on Monday we watched the Victoria Days parade and then caught the ferry home.  It was a very enjoyable weekend.
